Blog 4 - Time travel

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to talk about time travel.

Well, honestly it's very difficult for me because in this case I cannot choose only one option, but I'd love to be able to choose both, I mean, I'd like to travel to the past, but also to the past.

If I could go back in time, I'd love to know about the elven race and all it's magical origins. I know that their existence isn't 100% certain, but I refuse to believe that they are just inventions and fictitious stories. By the way, I know there are different types of elves, but in this case, I'm referring to the elves of the world of The Lord of the Rings. In fact, I remember that from the first time I saw the trilogy I hallucinated, especially with Rivendel which is the place where they live. I think from that moment I realized that I completely love fantasy. Actually, I must admit that it's one of my favorite movie genres.

On the other hand, if I could travel to the future, I'd like to be able to discover how the ways of life would be and how humanity would continue, I have always wondered what will happen to the planet, I mean, if life will continue to exist on earth or if new civilizations of beings other than human will be formed. Will it become like a reality similar to what is shown in futuristic movies or those that show dystopian worlds? Well, these are just questions that make me curious.

Blog 3 - My dream job

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to talk about my dream job.

Honestly, after high school I knew I wanted to study cinema ant television, but after taking the test (PDT) I still applied as a second option to study pedagogy in history because it was also an alternative that caught my attention.

Even though after leaving high school I immediately entered college, I think that in general it’s a very difficult decision to decide completely what to do with the rest of your life, I mean, no one will prepare you or teach you to be ready for that choice. 

Now, I’m very happy and satisfied with this career, I feel it’s very versatile, where you can explore different ways to create and learn to work in a collaborative team, which I value very much because individualism isn’t something very common in this.

Currently, I think it’s too early to say concretely if I plan to do a specific job within the audiovisual industry because you never know, but I must admit that so far I really like art direction and production, I think I still have a lot more to learn.

Personally, I would like to be able to work in film development, but also in television. I think it’s a great challenge to be able to experience both.

Blog 2 - My best holidays

Hi everyone! 

Today I'm going to talk about my best holidays.

My favorite holidays were in Pucon and Villarrica with my mom, my dad and my older sister. Honestly, I consider them the best holidays because they were the last ones the four of us enjoyed because after that my sister became independent and started her own family. It has been several years since that time, but I always remember those holidays with great affection.

I remember that there were beaches that caught my attention because their sand was black and there were many rocks. Almost all the time I asked many questions about the volcano that could be seen from very close, which was fascinating for my 10 years old self.

After being in Pucon we went to Valdivia, where we crossed by ferryboat to Corral, where there were fortifications and cannons from the time of the Spanish colony. Actually, something I remember the most is a historical recreation that some actors made with old clothes of soldiers, it was like a play, but not in a usual space.

Certainly, I like the south very much, I think it's a place where you can really enjoy what nature has to offer and disconnect from the big city.
